Don’t put off till tomorrow what could be done today. This little wisdom is something we have all heard, but many still fail to practice. One of the main areas this seems most prevalent is in our health. All too often we assume that we will be healthier tomorrow (without taking any positive steps in that direction) than we are today.
The interesting thing is that many of these steps take little extra effort and after awhile they simply become second nature. One of these is exercise. If we take the extra hour a day to go to the gym it can affect so many areas of your life. By making a workout the first priority of the day, not only do you receive the health benefits of the exercise, but you also tend to make better choices in terms of nutrition throughout the day, have more energy, and often will sleep better at night. One small hour can make such an impact.
Another step that takes even less time than the gym is seeing your chiropractor regularly to ensure your nervous system is functioning at its optimum. It is no secret that the nervous system controls and regulates the entire body – don’t you think it is a good idea to make sure it is functioning properly?
I would be AMAZED if anyone tried both of these – exercising daily and getting your spine checked weekly – for three months and DID NOT see a major improvement in their health.
