Over the next few months I have chosen to start an “Ask the Doctor” segment of the blog. Each post will include a new question that I often hear and will provide a simple answer. If you have any questions you wish to ask, please send it via the Contact Us section.
“Will regular visits to the chiropractor actually help prevent certain illnesses?”
Potentially, however, as has been addressed in prior posts, this is not the goal. The focus of Ruehle Family Chiropractic is to keep your spine as free from vertebral subluxations as possible. This is the greatest impact we (from a chiropractic perspective) can have on your life.
That being said, one of the effects of chiropractic care is an increased functioning immune system. This could prevent a certain illness from occurring. While this may occur occasionally it is typically the exception and not the rule. People should receive regular chiropractic care so that they can experience a better life – not so that they will hopefully avoid a particular disease or illness.
Our convenient location on Gordon Drive as well as our walk in basis for appointments, make it easy to both begin, as well as maintain your chiropractic care to help your body deal with any illnesses as efficiently as possible.
